How will the Internet technology influence the ERP business and solutions?

A decade ago the IT business was in a panic because the Internet bubble had burst. Nowadays we know better and are able to draw the outlines of the influence of the Internet. Take for example the Retail industry: consumers stay away from the stores and are buying massively on the Internet. Business people are closing their shops and cities centres are becoming less attractive. We see it around us and are reading about it in the newspaper.
